GEIL wasn’t at PAX Prime 2013 this year. But nothing is stopping them from unveiling their latest product. Introducing the GEIL EpicGear DeziMator. No, we’re not kidding.
The EpicGear DeziMator was built from the ground up with comfort in mind. From the geometric arch, the exact 9° angle, to the cloth wrapped wrist rest, this keyboard will make those long gaming sessions seem like a few short minutes. EpicGear did not stop at comfort though as you still get your choice of Cherry MX switches (Red and Brown), 70% aluminum construction, 1000 Hz polling rate, 20+ key rollover, a variety of illumination options, and replacement keys for the most common gaming keys.
My only concern with the Geil EpicGear DeziMator is the very silly name. It seems like the name was selected by a focus group of 8 year olds; however, the name will not matter as long as the keyboard delivers on its promises of quality, comfort, and durability. And between us, I think mechanical keyboards have some serious competition.
The keyboard comes with a 2 year warranty, but unfortunately, no release date or pricing information was announced. Full press release is posted below.
