During our trip to Los Angeles for the 2013 E3 Expo, we stopped by the Rosewill offices in California to have a look at their brand new Rosewill Throne chassis, fresh off the plane from Taipei. The case has been in development for the last year or so and we’ve seen it before in various stages of completion. But at COMPUTEX 2013 this year, the “Game of Throne” finally ended. So amidst the number of new products announced, they also finally brought the Throne to market.
That means that our video overview is the FIRST look at the retail version of this highly anticipated addition to the Rosewill case product line up. Check it out!

As you can see there are some really cool features on this case and the design is also quite tasteful. I particularly like the ability to swap the front door over from one side to the other, the ability to turn off the LED accent lighting completely, and the vent up top so you can easily quiet the case with the flick of a button. In some respects, it’s almost a cross between an NZXT Phantom and a Rosewill Thor V2 which isn’t a bad thing at all. The dual fan controllers were also a very nice touch, offering 30Watts per channel and up to control of 8 fans in total.
As far as cable management and quality goes, this case will clean up extremely easily thanks to the space on the back of the motherboard tray. We also found the interior surfaces to be well rounded and shouldn’t cause any blood shed when taking this Throne.
The Rosewill Throne Chassis is shipping right now and will retail for $169.99 US in “Castle Black”. But you can also pick it up in the very popular “John Snow” white for $189.99 US. But like we said in the video, someone could walk away with one in “Castle Black” completely free of charge!
