They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If that’s truly the case, then Chinese networking hardware brand Tenda Technology is trying to flatter a lot of people. Their newest AC15 performance router resembles routers from companies like ASUS and Netgear, but it also has a feature set that is targeted specifically at those companies.
The Tenda AC15 performance router is a dual-band gigabit WiFi router. It’ll fully support 1300Mbps 802.11ac at 5GHz and 600Mbps 802.11n at 2.4 GHz concurrently. Using Beamforming+, the Tenda router also says it can provide a stable wireless connection to all your connected devices, including IoT devices.
In addition to the 4 Gigabit wired network connections, the AC15 also has a USB 3.0 port on the back. This allows you to share either a USB drive or printer over your network. The unit doesn’t come with any cloud-based connectivity though.
