At CES 2016, the good folks at Thermaltake brought a large number of water-cooling based announcements to the deserts of Las Vegas. They range from easy-to-use to full DIY, and we decided to contain them to just one preview.

Thermaltake Water 3.0 Riing RGB

The first announcement is of a brand new Water series closed loop CPU cooler. Thermaltake is calling it the Water 3.0 Riing RGB Series. This new water cooler series will come with either a 240mm or 360mm high efficiency radiator, smart fan controller, and 256-colour RGB lighting with 5 LED colour modes. Based on what we’ve been told in the press release this will like previous Water series CPU coolers, in that they will provide a great deal of cooling performance in your existing case with little fuss.

Thermaltake Core X71 and Core X31

The next announcement contains two additions to the Core Series line of cases. The Core X31 mid-tower chassis and Core X71 full tower chassis are both “Tt LCS Certified,” meaning they offer the best compatibility for liquid cooling configurations. While they don’t actually come with any liquid cooling components, both cases come with fully adaptable mount points to furnish practically any liquid or air cooling configuration. They’re also quite modular, allowing you move around and configure component locations to accommodate your choice of cooling.

Thermaltake TT Premium Core W Chassis Series- W100, WP100

Where the Core X series above is more geared towards hobbyists and enthusiasts, the announced Thermaltake Core W series is being aimed directly at makers. Both the W100 and WP100 chassis are able to house more than 20 HDD cages and up to 10 expansion slots. They are also both said to be completely modular, and can accept any water cooling configuration you can throw in there. These are the professional workstation counterpart to the above X series gaming rig. You can even change up where you place the P100 portion of the case; a standalone cooling box that can be mounted either underneath or on top of the W100 tower.

Thermaltake Pacific R360 Water Cooling Kit

Finally we get to the most interesting announcement for any of us who used to make our own custom water cooling loops. Thermaltake is bringing to market a fully customizable water cooling kit in the form of the Pacific R360 D5 Water Cooling Kit. This kit will consist of one CPU water block, one D5 pump and reservoir, one 360mm slim radiator, six compression fittings (chrome), three Riing 12 LED Blue radiator fans, one tube, a blue coolant, and other accessories. Since it’s not a closed loop, the kit can then be further customized from there. Thermaltake also announced kits with smaller radiators. Here’s hoping they’ll consider making additional water blocks for those who want to cool their GPU or RAM.
