This past week was a little quiet but we did manage to squeeze out a few things that you might want to know about including a new motherboard review. OK, it’s really quiet, but we kinda want to keep this thing going on a regular basis so here goes nothing!
Review – GIGABYTE G1.Killer Assassin X58 Motherboard
After lots of teasing from GIGABYTE at CES 2011, we finally got our hands on this monster gaming board. Unlike a lot of brands that try to combine gamers and overclockers into one confused moniker, GIGABYTE clearly sees that the people that are hardcore overclockers aren’t necessarily hardcore gamers. It’s strange because the company that I’m sort of poking at here (*cough*ASUS ROG) were the ones that told me when ROG first launched, that these groups were not the same and needed to be treated differently.
I guess this person quit and went to GIGABYTE because their new G1.Killer series of boards are definitely everything that a gamer wants in one place. Eric totally tears into this new hardcore gaming board and while it is a gaming board, it does overclock as well. Check it out here.
