Remember Func? Well, the newly resurfaced team over there have re-launched the brand name and are continuing to move forward with new product lines at COMPUTEX 2013 in Taipei this week. Determined to set a new standard for gaming peripherals, they expanded their offerings at the show to include the full array of gaming needs.
To complement the MS-3 gaming mouse, Func goes back to their roots with the new F-series mousepads. Thanks to a textured special synthetic rubber, the F-10 mousepads have exceptional traction. They provide the perfect complement to any mouse, eliminating pad sliding, hand slips, and other gaming issues that can leave your scores flat. Their product claims to greatly reduce to completely eliminating these issues.
What is a mouse without a great keyboard to match? Func introduces their first mechanical keyboard the KB-460 with Cherry MX Red switches, N-key rollover, and individual key illumination. While completely functional with Plug-N-Play, it does have management software to give the user a full control experience with features such as macro programming, key assignment, and profile storage. The KB-460 also has a USB 2.0 hub and integrated media controls.
The final piece to the Func gaming arsenal are the HS-260 gaming headsets. Designed for comfort and a well-defined sound stage for the best gaming experience and easy access controls found on the ear cups. The HS-260 comes as a headset with detachable microphone so they can be your favorite headset and headphones all in one.
The F-series 10 mousepads will be available this June for MSRP of $22.95 to $24.95 US (large and XL) with the Func KB-460 following in July 2013 for an MSRP of $119.95 US (Launch promotions will be set at MSRP $99.95 US). The HS-260 will be available in Sept. 2013 with an MSRP of $79.95 US.
