Futurelooks continues its video barrage from CES 2011 with a look at SAMSON’s new Meteor Mic USB Studio Microphone. This new mic is ideal for home audio recording and even works with Skype. Because no drivers are required, you are ready to go once you plug it into your PC or Mac.
A large 25mm condensor diaphragm gives this little mic its excellent sound quality and flat frequency response. It sits on any flat surface using a set of legs that allows the mic to sit angled or flat, and can be folded flat against the body when not in use.
The Meteor Mic is due to hit the shelves for $99 US and should be hitting the shelves in April this year.
