Earlier this year at CES 2011, we saw a bunch of new stuff from CORSAIR. Then we saw more new stuff at COMPUTEX 2011 including some new water cooling products and a couple of new value cases. At PAX Prime 2011, we get a chance to see all of CORSAIR`s latest and greatest assembled in one place. All of the new products announced this year were neatly configured into two systems at the booth where they were making sure gamers had a good time. While some friendly competition for fabulous free stuff went on behind us, Futurelooks had a chat with one of CORSAIR`s marketing managers, Mike Valera. Check out what he had to say in our video above (or directly on YouTube)!
CORSAIR Carbide 400R and 500R Cases
Originally seen at COMPUTEX 2011 this past Summer, the cases are finally in the retail channel. Based on the aggressive price points of $129 US for the 500R, and $99 US for the 400R, it doesn`t look like CORSAIR is stopping any time soon in their quest to quickly gain market share. The new cases show a lot of thought and detail with ease of use and full tool free design in mind. Cooling also looks well taken care of on both enclosures. This new lower price point for the company is definitely going to win some builders over.
CORSAIR H60 and H100 Cooling Systems
Also mentioned in the video were the company`s new water cooling systems. Some of you may recall that CORSAIR was originally working with ASETEK on these self contained systems. But it looks like Canada shot and scored as CoolIT Systems is now the primary designer and supplier of these unique water cooling systems. The H60 was the first to launch out of the gate with a design very similar to the original ECO ALC, but with design tweaks specific to CORSAIR. It`s a single radiator with a 120mm fan priced at around $79.99US.
CORSAIR`s new top end cooler, the 240mm radiator equipped, dual 120mm fan H100 was also on display and includes a new push button system for setting the performance of the system. If you checked out our coverage of CORSAIR at CES 2011, the company is working on a method of control that`ll allow you to monitor this and any other connected cooling system from software loaded on your desktop. But for now, you can pick this up for $119.99US.
All in all, some pretty cool things from CORSAIR to make gamers and enthusiasts happy. Make sure you keep an eye on the front page or on our YouTube Channel for more videos and overage from PAX Prime 2011 Seattle!
