GIGABYTE is looking forward to the release of their new line-up of gaming laptops targeted at extreme portability. They will start the new line-up off with their first two products dubbed Ultrablade Gaming Laptops. These are a mix between the ultra thin and powerful gaming notebooks. This sort of reminds us of what RAZER is doing with their new Blade notebooks. Do you remember that photo that we posted on our facebook page? You can make up your own mind about where these designs may have seen inspiration from. Not such a bad thing if you ask us as the Blades are quite beautiful albeit expensive.
The flagship Ultrablade will be called the GIGABYTE P35K featuring the 4th generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor and an Nvidia GTX 765M graphics processor for great gaming and portability. The P35K also supports up to two 512 GB SSD or up to two 1 TB slim HDDs, and a swappable DVD-ROM/HDD slot if you don’t need that much storage. This is all elegantly packaged in a 15.6 inch laptop that is 21 mm tall and weighs only 4.76 lbs.
Coming it at more portable design is the GIGABYTE P34G with the same 21 mm height, but comes it with a 14 inch display weighing only 3.74 lbs. The only thing you “lose” is a minor downgrade to the Nvidia GTX 760M instead of the GTX 765M. Both will feature a sandblasted aluminum matte housing,  electro-luminescent backlit keyboard, and two USB 3.0 ports. What more could you ask for if you are a gamer on the go?
