This week seems to be the week of keyboard and mouse releases. Today, long-time performance peripheral producer Func announced the release of their new mechanical gaming keyboard, the KB-460, which accompanies the previously released Func MS-3 gaming mouse that launched them back into the market earlier this year. This new keyboard, originally teased at COMPUTEX 2013 in June, features Cherry MX Red switches, red LED backlighting, and the sturdiness you would expect from a mechanical finger pounder.
According to Func, they haven’t just put out another keyboard though; they are touting this as a keyboard that “has been designed and engineered to accomplish the gamer’s needs.” Indeed it has an impressive list of performance related features, including full N-key rollover and anti-ghosting, integrated media controls, and a software suite allowing customization of all the keys and added macros. But it would be nice to see some new innovative features like what ROCCAT has done with smartphone integration.
