There has been a surge of awesome USB 3.0 flash drives throughout this year that ranged from massive storage to unparalleled speed. The issue has been the price of these items when puts them well beyond the reach of most consumers. Corsair has a solution for that in their new lineup of USB 3.0 drives including the Voyager GS, LS, and Mini.
It is clear Corsair intends to end all previous versions of the Voyager with this new class as they cover each of the three major needs of Flash drive users. First up is the high-performance Voyager GS which is the flagship of the line. The Voyager GS drives can reach speeds up to 285 MB/s read and 180 MB/s write making it faster than most mechanical hard drives.
The next series is the Voyager LS which fills the role of all-purpose flash solutions. These USB 3.0 drives (full backwards compatible with USB 2.0) range in capacity from 16 GB up to 128 GB which is plenty of storage space and variety for every day consumers. The brushed metal exterior and retractable port design will help protect this drive over the years.
The last memory of the new Corsair lineup is the Voyager Mini for extreme portability. The Mini is just 32 mm (1.25 inches) long with a detachable key ring but is still a full-sized USB port for maximum compatibility. While the Mini is also the most affordable of the three it still has a premium brushed metal exterior.
