As many of our readers know, Futurelooks has been handing out BETA keys for an Invite Only event happening on August 10 – 12th, 2012. NVIDIA teamed up with not only Futurelooks, but some of your other favourite websites to distribute these keys for this particular weekend. That’s why we were totally confused by this tweet from the End of Nations Twitter Account…
As many of you folks who tried to get into the BETA this past weekend know, it didn’t happen. We did send out an email to NVIDIA for comment and it turns out that the event was cancelled, but didn’t give enough time for them to communicate that to us. However, based on the tweet above, it does look like there is hope for a new event coming up soon so definitely hold on to the BETA keys we have given out as they should be good for the next event.
Really sorry about this folks. Had we known about the postponement well in advance, we would have totally let you know. Once we get a new date for the BETA, we’ll let you folks know and continue to hand out the keys so that you can participate.
