The H87-ITX WiFi is a mini-ITX motherboard with a LGA 1150 socket and the Intel H87 chipset. The main difference between the H87 and Z87 is of course the overclocking functions (although we have heard that some companies have defeated the limitation). This is similar to the difference between the previous Z77 and H77 chipsets.
The board comes well equipped with two USB 3.0 ports on the back, four SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports, two DDR3 memory slots, an internal USB 3.0 header, Wireless 802.11n (300 Mbps), Bluetooth 4.0, dual Gigabyte Ethernet ports, and one full x16 PCIe slot. This is everything you could hope to find on a mini-ITX board and then some.
This board will be a great core to a home media server, or portable workstation. It could even be a great LAN party rig if you don’t plan on overclocking. It goes to show that the mini-ITX form does not limit possibilities or features.
