Halo fans have been waiting for this moment for a very long time. Although Halo Wars launched in the interim, it really didn’t give us that First Person Shooter action that we expected of the Halo franchise. Back at E3 2009 we got an answer and that answer was Halo 3: ODST…
“The Halo 3: ODST storyline focuses on the legendary ODSTs or “Orbital Drop Shock Troopers” as they drop into the ruined city of New Mombasa, looking for clues behind the Covenant’s catastrophic attack on the city. The new campaign chapter predates the events that unfold in Halo 3 and give players a fresh perspective through the eyes of a new hero in the Halo universe. New multiplayer maps ensure the award-winning Xbox LIVE experience of Halo 3 continues to thrive.”
Halo 3: ODST is set to drop on September 22, 2009. But before that happens, Futurelooks got an exclusive hands on preview of the actual retail version of the game.

We also get some time with Jeff Rivait from Microsoft Canada who is also a huge Halo fan. He also chimes in with a few nuggets of goodness. Roll the video!
Leo will be returning later on with a full review of the game so make sure you stay tuned!
So get ready to drop Halo fans! We’re only hours away from what might very well be the best Halo title since Halo 3. But the question is, will the Master Chief return in Halo Reach? We’ll let you know as soon as we know. In the meantime, you can check out our Halo Reach Trailer from E3 2009.
