Notebook ALIENWARE INTRODUCES EASILY TRANSPORTABLE 14" SENTIA M3400 NOTEBOOK

Thin-and-Light Sentia m3400 Delivers Advanced Wireless Capabilities and a Built-In Webcam Packed into a 4.5 lb Design
MIAMI – Dec. 30, 2005 - Alienware® -- the leading manufacturer of high-performance desktop, notebook, media center, server and professional systems -- releases the new Alienware Sentia™ m3400 notebook, which includes a 14” wide-screen LCD, Intel® Centrino® mobile technology, and a built-in webcam. Providing over 3.5 hours of battery life in a conveniently light and transportable 4.5 lb design, the Sentia m3400 represents the perfect companion for anyone wanting to ensure that their on-the-go lifestyle does not hinder the way they work, have fun, or stay in touch.

With Intel Centrino mobile technology, the Sentia m3400 delivers fully integrated wireless LAN capability, including support for 802.11a/b/g, for easy access to home and office networks as well as Wi-Fi hotspots.

The Sentia m3400's 14” wide-screen LCD features ClearView technology to provide a crystal-clear display at any location, even brightly lit environments. Users can also take advantage of a built-in, 1.3 megapixel webcam that enables live video conferencing and other video communication without having to deal with external devices or wires. Further advantages of the Sentia m3400 include up to 120GB of hard drive space and a 4-in-1 media card reader.

“The Sentia m3400 joins Alienware's other new thin-and-light notebook, the Sentia™ m3200, in providing customers with highly versatile and mobile solutions that keep up with even the most hectic day-to-day lives,” said Patrick Cooper, director of product management for Alienware. “For Sentia m3400 users, life just got a little easier.”

“Intel Centrino mobile technology enables notebooks like the Sentia m3400 to be smaller, lighter, and more powerful while enabling great battery life so consumers can easily tote them for use inside or outside the home or office,” said Karen Regis, director of marketing programs for Intel’s Mobile Platforms Group. “Sentia m3400 users have the freedom to stay connected anywhere and anytime, making their notebook a key entertainment, communications and information resource.”
