What would be the best way to travel in your mind?

Plane, Boat, Car, Bus, Limo? :p

I'll take the limo thanks! :D

That would totally depend where I'm going :)

I'd like to take a train ride cross-Canada :)

That got me thinking on the way in to work this morning. I'd love to go all across Switzerland by train.

Ok if anything I'd like to have the job of one of those travellers on Lonely Planet

I think that the best ways to travel would be by either boat or car!

How about driving around the world? You know, board a boat on the Atlantic side, or take a train with your car in Europe. That would be fun... but nothing beats Air for speed, though the security checks are getting tighter and making more delays.

Depends:

For short distances such as Calgary --> Edmonton, I'd take a Greyhound Bus.

Anything further, and I'll take a plane..... although the events of Sept. 11 will probably haunt me when I take my next flight.

Even though I haven't taken a plane since 911, I would still take a plane, though it'll feel a little weird.

What kinda question is "Best Way to Travel" There is no "Best Way" you take the way that will take you where you want to go and what you want to do...so if that involves taking a car, then taxi, tuk tuk, pedal bike, moped, helicopter, piece of crap plane that would never pass any N. American aviation standards, elephant, bamboo raft, boat, whatever, I have done most of these and whatever else who cares, there is no "Best Way" you ask ," How do I get to ....." and hook it up.

Forgot something on my last post..."Way to Travel" is all part of the adventure, I have lost count of how many times I have almost died in various forms of transportation.
