Any chance you could disable the feature that sends moderators an e-mail when one of their sections gets a new post?

(That's not the "E-Mail Notification" that I have unchecked in each message I reply to -- that's a moderator "feature")

I enabled the feature that lets moderators know when a new thread is opened, but not when a new post has happened. Which forum is it coming from? Maybe I forgot to turn it off for you in that forum.

Mainly in the Got Game, and Computer Colosseum threads. (I received notifications about each post that was made in those forums -- such as posts when the DOA3 thread was updated in the Game thread).

Okay, let me turn those off so you only get notifications about new threads in those sections. I'll make that standard for all moderators so you don't get email overload.

I don't think that it even sends me notification of a new thread,, I don't recieve any email from the futurelooks site!

I turned mine off in my profiles, and I still get some spurrious email notifications. ???

That might be from some of the older threads that had the function turned on. All posts from this point on should not do that.

I dunno if I missed reading something in part of the thread, but I changed my email addy long ago to get rid of the email notifications, 'cause the profile option wasn't working. But by setting my email to a bogus address, I couldn't get access to my new activation code, so I finally got around to changing my address back to a valid one. :D

yeah Ken,, Splitfyre has programmed it that the only way to get aproved as a memeber is by having a real email addy,,,, he should have told you that
