The Intel Core i7 is the current king of the desktop performance market and shows no signs of slowing down. At present, the Core i7 processor is the superior number crunching executioner of choice compared to any other CPU solution to cross this test bench to date. This success would be for naught without the X58 platform which currently solely supports it.

Thanks Fw. Back in 96 when I got my first comp, ECS was my first board. TR5510 I think it was.

Looks like these boards will be dropping in price. That'll make it the 2nd most affordable around for i7. I started reviewing their boards just as they switched to the Black Series for AMD and Intel. The old school cheap, questionable ECS is long gone. Their new attitude and image has done wonders. Wonder if we'll ever see a crazy, record setting overclocking board from them some day.
