Denon has recently just upgrade about every product they line they produce. This is a big deal being that many of their products were based off of models from 2005 and were simply receiving firmware updates. With all these product updates, Denon has also introduced their S-Series Home Theater Systems. These allow for the docking of an iPod or other mobile player and will stream XM, HD Radio, Rhapsody, and play MP3, AAC, and WMA CDs.

This major update to Denon's products once again places Denon far ahead of the competition in both starter and expert AV equipment. In my opinion the Denon 5 series could be considered the best in the world :p (I say this, owning a 5803.

Another notable addition to Denon's 2008 line up are 2 new Blu-ray Disc players.

Wow! Thatīs a very interesting option! I havenīt had a home theater system for a while because here in Berlin the electricity is diffrent than in the US, and I will get back to the US... I would definitely look it up!

Yo! There are technical adapters called "converters" that you can use that will (hopefully) adapt your North American technology to European electrical standards. Check around. :)

I guess Denon is the upscale lineup, while Onkyo is the midrange brand.

Say what? How and by whom? Technics and Panasonic's parent company is Matsushita but I didn't know about these guys. Funny, Marantz and Denon were always considered pretty decent stuff. Harmon Kardon also. Hitachi makes great TVs but their amps were considered rather dodgy when it came to power production. Class H amp, my arse.
