We have had ours for it will be a year in two more months. Well the last day it has been constantly freezing up on all the games. We called today and they said that it was something that needed fixed internally. So now we have to send it to them and they are going to fix it and send it back. This is an awful time only because I have bought the boys some games for it for Christmas that they won't get to play now until it comes back. So I was just wondering if anyone on here has had this problem and had to send it back and how long it actually took to get it back? Thanks

I only got mine in September for Halo 3. So far, I've been shredding Guitar Hero non stop and it seems to be doing pretty good. Mine's the Elite, but it does have some sort of a heatsink upgrade that keeps it from exploding...for now. Sorry I can't be more help on the length of time for repair. Maybe Peter A.K. on the forum knows since he's had his X360 for a lot longer than I have.

I won one from Pepsi Canada about this time last year and it lasted a little over a month before it started freezing up and displaying graphics corruption.
It took about a month to get a replacement which is still running fine to this day.
I doubt that you'll get back the same one you send in. Apparently they refurbish quite a few of them

That is what ours was doing. It kept freezing up and now it won't turn on at all. Hopefully we will get it sometime not to long after the holiday. Thanks you guys.

Well we just got the box done today. I don't foresee getting it back before the holiday. I think I will just stick with maybe getting them some DS games that way they don't have something that they cannot play on Christmas morning.
