So... Is anyone eyeing any ridiculous Black Friday deals? We don't have Black Friday up in Canada. We have to wait till December 26th for our "Boxing Day". Even then, truly awesome deals seem few and far between these days.

That is exactly why I no longer go shopping today. The deals are not that great, or are limited to whatever is in stock (no raincheck) and they only have a couple of units.

My friend told me that Fry's Electronics was selling the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 and an ECS motherboard (most likely a crappy model) for $200.
My dad saw this sweet Sony 46" LCD tv for like $1200 at Fry's. But he just bought a Sony a few weeks ago for like $2000....

NCIX had some great deals that didn't take long before they were sold out.
Here are the ones that caught my eye:
500GB WD and Hitachi hard-drives - $80CAD,
OCZ Platinum XTC REV.2 PC2-6400 2X1GB - $26CAD
and,
Galaxy 8800GT - $260CAD (I think...)

They also had 1TB Hitachi drives for $200 and EVGA 8800GTS KO 640MB with Quake Wars for $280. They have the same EVGA 8800GTS KO 640MB back with Crysis for $295

I did end up going out and I hated to but I ended up saving 40.00 on a couple toys the boys wanted. I didn't get any of the electronics on sale. But man the lines were terrible for that kind of stuff.

It looks like some of the better deals are online, but then I only look for things that women tend to purchase. I hae no clue what goes on with kids' toys.

I could get a Camera for $100, it was a real good deal along with GPS $200. I had to go around 5 am to get them, by 3 pm when I revisited, all good deals were gone. I could buy Car seat and stroller for kids around $200 both together.

I got a late start, I did not leave until around noon, but I did get to Radio Shack and I got a Blue Tooth head set that was 40% off. It was originally $100 exactly, so I got it for $60. It works great!

My boyfriend picked up a hard drive for me from NCIX. I have no idea how much it cost (or which one he got me for that matter). I am not going to question a gift! :D
