Hey Guys,
Let me RE-Introduce myself. My name is Stephen (aka: Firewire. Why? Because I'm the only Futurelooks Team Member with Firewire Peripherals), and I'm one of the founding fathers of the Futurelooks Clan.
I grew up in a small Hick town called Parksville with a population that was old enough to croak at any moment. Sometimes I joke that the largest industries were funeral homes, and Golf Courses!
I graduated there with the other 119 or so people that were graduating that year (1995). The funny thing is that I knew everyone of them, and have talked to each one at some point in my career as a high schooler.
Afterwards, I went to University in Victoria, and that is where the following story I wrote takes place:

...as a result of the above and OTHER shenanigans, I didn't do too well that year. AND, my parents moved out to Vancouver, so I had to follow them or starve
I finished my General Business Management Diploma at Douglas College in or around 1998 and have been working ever since. I plan to go back someday to finish my Marketing Management Diploma. I am like 4 courses from finishing that!
Douglas College is where I met Splitfyre, FYI.
Futurelooks started up with myself, ZeroG (Gautam, the visionary), and DJ Supanova (Jason, who is now our Audio Editor) in a basement. Just like all the other greats! In fact, at first, it wasn't even going to be a website. It was going to be something else totally different!
It was around 2000 (I think) when we decided we wanted to do a website. Since I had been talking to Mr. Moto Chow from The Tech Zone already about running our own site, we decided to meet up at COMDEX that year in Vancouver, and he gave us a lot of good advice. What a swell guy he is
Shortly after, Splitfyre (aka: Kevin) came onboard, and we've had other people jump on and off, but things have stayed relatively the same. Bricer (aka: Gambit) is also one of the boyz.
Futurelooks was launched at the end of the Summer of 2000 and here we are now.
As one of your Administrators, I'll do my best to keep things on topic, and to help you all out with whatever you need. Private Message me anytime!
In my sparetime, away from Futurelooks, I enjoy Rally Racing on the weekends, as noted in some of the articles I write, and I also love Mountain biking, snowboarding, and other outdoorsy stuff.
See around the forums!
