So is anyone planning on getting this Apple iphone when it comes out this June? I am not planning on it. Way to exspensive for my tastes. That and I probably wouldn't use half the functions that will be with it.

I have not actually heard of this phone or the features of it but I must admit I do not pay attention to these things. My husband usually just tells me what I should have and he gets it for me. I'm that way with a lot of things though.....a phone is a phone is a phone, a car is a car is a car......

I have to admit that I'm not one to run out and buy things when they first come out - I am more likely to buy it after I hear the reviews, and when the prices come down.

The features on this phone look awesome, very all-inclusive, which appeals to me. The price on the other is very unappealing to me...I'll have to wait. :disapprove:

I am that way also. I don't care to buy things when they first come out because I have gotten burned that way. I tend to wait awhile and see what everyone things about a product first before I go out and get it.

The other thing that I realized about the iPhone is that even if you break down and buy one you'll pay a fortune to your cell company in order to maximize the features on the phone.

I won't be getting it. I can't see spending hundreds of dollard for a phone. And, I wouldn't use the functions, either. There are a lot of those functions on the phone I have now, and I don't use anything except the camera every once in a while.

Isn't there going to be only one provider? I thought it was going to be Cingular but I cannot remember for sure if that is what I read. If that is the case I would not want to be beholden to one provider to use the phone.
