What MP3 Player gives you the most bang for your buck, so to speak? I've been interested in purchasing one for quite some time but feel a bit overwhelmed by all of the options!

I've been interested in purchasing one for quite some time but feel a bit overwhelmed by all of the options! happy2bg33k May 28th, 2007, 08:27 AM I guess it would depend on what features you are looking for and what you'll be using it for. I'm very attached to my iPod Nano, it holds a lot of music and is very portable, but it hasn't any video capabality. I have friends who swear by the Zune as a player but I'm hesitant because the Zune has limited formats for the music it will hold. And then my kiddo has one of those AA battery, 100 song holding clip on MP3 players which is perfect for a preteen likely to lose or lose interest in something fast. You pay extra for the brand (apple) and for its cosmetic appeal. :) I've always liked the Samsung Yepp but I don't know if they still make them. Do you plan on storing all your music on it? If so then look for the ones that have large storage (20-30gb) if you plan on running with it or something similar look for the smaller ones 1g-2gb in size. The biggest thing for me is the display, i love my iPod's display (have the 2gb nano) and I haven't found one whose display is the same. But that's my preference hehe. My mum has a 512mb RCA thing she seems to like its hard to read the display and navigate but I guess you get used to it. randomthoughts1875 May 29th, 2007, 03:56 PM iPod isnt the best for bang for your buck. I do plan on using an MP3 player for running so, I will look into the 1-2 gb size. It appears the Samsung Yepp is still available but at a price that's quite a bit more than I'd like to spend! I'm a bit confused about the display...I hear a lot of people refer to it, do you use your ipod to view video as well? happy2bg33k May 30th, 2007, 05:39 AM iPod isnt the best for bang for your buck.
