Does anyone have this at home? I have been thinking about going with Direct TV and was wondering if there is a better company to use and how everyone likes it? Thanks.

We don't use any type of satellite or cable serice in our home but have consulted friends and family in the past about their opinions. We've heard nothing but good things about Direct TV. There are the typical complaints about blackouts but those are to be expected with any provider. I am curious to how their prices compare to competitors? I hope you'll keep us posted!

I am going to check around and see what others I can find so I can do some comparisons. I will let you know what I find out. I have heard alot of good things the last couple of days about Direct TV.

We have Dish Net and have been very happy with it. When we investigated it was considerably cheaper than DirectTV and we were able to get our local channels. The only caveat is that when the weather isn't great the signal gets interrupted and we lose service for a little while.

We've had both, and I prefer DirecTV. At the moment, we have neither. We haven't been watching TV a whole lot lately, so I figured we could save some money.
