I am incredibly impressed by these frames...what a neat concept! Have any of you purchased on as of yet? They are a bit pricey but may be worth it. Any input?

They are a bit pricey but may be worth it. Any input? Stephanie2377 May 11th, 2007, 07:20 PM I haven't gotten one yet, and to be honest... I am not sure what to think. Perhaps I haven't yet seen a really good one. I just can't imagine a digital image would have the same effect as a framed printed photo. Does it run on a battery? I just think that would be so much wasted power. Just my 2cents. I still love prints! trick-r-treat May 11th, 2007, 08:48 PM I have seen them, they are really nice. I might get one eventually, but they are a bit pricey. tater03 May 12th, 2007, 01:03 PM I think that they look pretty neat myself. Right now I would have to agree that they are just to much money for me to get one right now. I would like to one day though. sbarber77 May 13th, 2007, 05:55 PM They are a really neat concept but still way too much money for me as well. I have never seen one in real life but I would like to. I would like to see what the quality of the photos are like. trick-r-treat May 13th, 2007, 06:33 PM You almost could just set up your pictures as a slide-show on your computer and leave it running - voila, digital frame! glennds June 7th, 2009, 06:36 PM Actually, these will get more popular when, just like every other gadget, the features get more rich and the quality goes up while the price goes down. The wireless ones are most practical, especiall the Kodak wireless digital frames (http://blog.digitalsmartframes.com/2009/04/kodak-easyshare-w820-digital-frame-up-close-dsfcom-review/). |
