My hubby couldn't wait and gave me my Mother's Day present yesterday. He got me a 4GB pink IPod Nano and a $50 ITunes giftcard!!! SCORE!
I just LOVE it. I love pink, and I really love this pink Nano. I spent a couple of hours last night deciding what songs to download first. SO MUCH FUN.
Will I ever use all 4GB? I am betting not. But, he wanted me to have all of the room just in case.
What a great hubby!!! I mentioned a while back what I wanted, and he remembered.

Congratulations, Stephanie! That sounds like a great gift! And you may be surprised a year from now how much of that 4GB you have used, once you really start getting into loading this and that tune.

You are right about that. I have already put 40 songs that I have downloaded since Tuesday. Then, I got 30 songs from my hubby's ITunes collection. I just love having all of those songs right at my fingertips. I used to think I'd never use an iPod. But, now that I have one, I want to listen to my music all the time! :p

That was so nice. I have yet to get one. Maybe I should drop some hints. But it would have to be for my birthday since Mother's Day is just around the corner and I already mentioned something else that I wanted.

I don't know what I'd do if my husband bought me something like that for Mother's Day. I'll be lucky if I get a card, actually. Of course, I could be wrong, but I'm not holding my breath.

Guess what? I am listening to my iPod RIGHT NOW. Chatting it up on a forum is more fun with music in my ears!! Plus, I cleaned the kitchen, mopped, dusted and cleaned the bathrooms tonight all while listening to my music. (yes, I am a geek who cleans on Friday nights) My toddler is asleep, my hubby is working on his fire truck and I have a couple of hours to kill.
I made sure my hubby wouldn't borrow it (he has a Shuffle but now wants a Nano) by putting songs on it that would make him run screaming from the house.
I have everything from Bon Jovi to Duran Duran to John Denver to Chris Daughtry to James Taylor. This iPod truly represents me and all my moods!

My daughter wants to take me to an Indian Powwow for Mother's Day! That should be a lot of fun.

I got flowers for mother's day today....twice.
First, I got some paper flowers for scrapbooking. And then I got a bracelet with gems that form flowers (it matches a necklace I have).
Gee, my daughter is not quite a year old and already she is a very accomplished shopper!
I am soooooo spoiled.

My new boyfriend gave me $200 to get my hair and nails done as my Mother's Day treat. He said I should pamper myself. I think I might keep this one.
