I have recorded a meeting, but there is a lot of background noise, unwanted noise, feedback, static etc... Is there a program that I can use to edit those out?

Interesting question. I think you needed to buy a recorder that has the feature built in before you start taping. I have no knowledge of a program that can erase it afterward. I am interested to see if there is something that can do this as well.

Magix has a range of software that you might be able to choose from to correct that. They have software that even cleans up old record transfers to PC.

I did it before. I used FlexiMusic Wave Editor (http://www.fleximusic.com/) to do it using Noise reduction Effect to remove the unwanted noise.
