People have finally figured out how limited the iPod is, and it looks like they are striking back with their wallets.

I've never been a fan of this device, but no one can doubt that it will make its place as the electronic fashion accessory of this generation.

Yes, I even got socks for my iPod!
But if I was to get another iPod (excluding the Nano), I'd go for a different brand...those Creative Zens seem really cool.

The Creative Zens have my respect. They look good. They sound even better. Plus, they don't slave your music to the device. Drag and drop and away you go.

I'm planning ahead. The iPod is at the top of my Christmas wishlist...now if only Santa Hubby will take the bait...

What's the scoop on Apple coming out with some movie player??

They have a movie player. It's called iPod Video. The next big fashion accessory thing up their sleeve is a music playing phone :P Like that hasn't been done before!
It's like when they launched the nano. It wasn't small. They're like "Oh, look at us, we've made a small music player" when everyone else has already done it to death...and with more features and memory.
I guess they had fun and made money while it lasted. They're going to have to do better this time around. Marketing a mediocre product really well can only work for so long.

I wasn't referring to the iPod video...but something newer that hasn't officially come out yet!

You mean this thing?

It better do more than just play videos. Regurgitation is so lame.

I have a Nano and I love that thing...I load it with audio books and I've caught up on more books than I thought I could imagine. This thing has been great, not feeling well, lay down and listen to a book....took a long train ride, and an audio book made the time fly by! I love my Ipod Nano.

I have a Creative Zen Micro and I love it. I've had it for almost 2 years now. All our girls had Ipod Mini's and hate them. They all want (and one now has) a Creative Zen Nano. Tiny little thing but well worth the LESS THAN $80 price tag!!
