what do you guys marinate chicken with if you wanna BBQ it? I know my mom used a bit of pepper, soy sauce, and sugar and it was pretty good, but I'm not sure of the proportions. I guess I'll find out tomorrow :D

Lemmy-Boy April 7th, 2002, 11:06 PM This is a spanish style chicken marinade my mama grills up. Yummy.... Pepper cup red wine vinegar. garlic cloves salt dried oregano olive oil Spanish paprika Sgt. Tibbs April 22nd, 2002, 03:46 AM There's a recipe for garlic lime chicken marinade I stole from another site's kitchen, and it's fabulous! 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce 1/4 cup fresh lime juice 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper I've also made it with minced garlic in olive oil out of a jar (about 2 tsp), and it works equally well. This is really tasty grilled, sometimes I do it as shish-kebobs. Ken April 23rd, 2002, 11:33 PM Try this: 3 parts maple syrup, 1 part soy sauce marinade in fridge for 48hours for chicken or salmon. my chicken will be cooked tomorrow! :o -S- April 24th, 2002, 08:52 PM I have a feeling its gonna taste somewhat similar to the chicken I made for the BBQ Ken. I substituted maple syrup for sugar. Try adding some garlic in there. Its pretty good that way too :) Splitfyre April 25th, 2002, 10:46 PM Garlic is good for anything :) |
