It's a tie between Thai and Japanese food as the all time favourite. Man I'm getting hungry, then again I've been working since 5am this morning ...zzzzzzzz.. huh..what? zzzzzzz ..falling asleep here @ work. :D

I like anything that I make that turns out well. After watching Food TV, I get these urges to create with whatever is in my kitchen. It's even more of a challenge because typically there is barely anything. I made this really cool Country-Mesa-Chicken Steak smothered in fried onions, on a bed of hashbrowned potatoes, with a guacamole and roasted red bell pepper sauce. It turned out pretty darn good. It looked so cool, I had to take a picture of it. I'll post that later. I think it had a very "Bobby Flay" influence.

Typically, my favourite food is DEFINITELY Japanese food. I love the textures and the flavour. It tastes so pure and light.

Its simple but I love shepherds pie. Especially the way my mom makes it. She puts some strips of bacon on the top.

yum, yum, yum in my tum, tum, tum :D

Mmm...I also love shepherd's pie...so comforting :)
Oooh and seafood.

Lately I've been really liking the Cookies 'n' Cream baked Clif bars.

As for cuisines, I'm partial to Cantonese, Japanese, and fine North American.

Oooh and dessert. Desserts are my favourite. :p

I am getting hungry. :o

I'm a pasta fanatic -- with Rigatoni and Pizza being my favorite.

Still, put a nice big juicy steak in front of me and I'll be happy too. :)

...Can I come over? You're making my mouth water already. I can just picture it. :)

My favorite pasta is Rigatoni -- I don't know why, but I've always just loved it.

Here's the picture of that dish I was going to post earlier. I call it Country Mesa Chicken. It started out as a country fried chicken steak, but then I decided to add a whole bunch of stuff. Onions, chees, and a Guacamole and Roasted Red Pepper sauce.

http://frontpage.home.net/bikegod/forums/country_mesa_chicken.jpg

I would probably change the recipe and presentation next time by using a large breast, fried in a coating of crunchy bread crumbs and a light batter, instead of the country chicken steak. I would probably use thinner sliced onions, deep fried, and for the sauce, I would probably make it a bit spicier with hot sauce, topping it off with some kernel corn and a bit of sour cream. Don't forget the cheese! I would keep the bed of hash browned potatoes the same.

It was there more for colour and texture than anything else. The Roasted Bell pepper sauce and the spices I added made it tangy, but light.

coolness,,,,, it sounds like something that I would make but I would skip the guacamole even if it gave good colour and texture :D

Sushi isn't all about raw fish :) There's also cooked food and vegetables.

....and you're amazed at the quantity they give you for the price you pay. For those who know Coquitlam, if you go to the one down by Coquitlam Centre, you'll find that their spring rolls are GARGANTUAN compared to some other locations.. just s a side tip!
