recently changed to soya from cow...so good strawberry not too shabby, and had a vanilla latte at starbucks with soy today...very nice..
~~~~and for all those wondering about the "over" development is teenage girls these days, it is now proven that it has to do with cows milk and the hormones that are given to the cows in feeding....
Lactose intolerant?
Based on your above quote, I guess the hormones didn't work on you then....
I totally agree. That's my favorite (haven't had it in a while, though). A couple summers ago, that's pretty much all I drank!
I'm not a huge fan of soy milk, but if I have some, it has to be sweetened!
Actually, soybeans (and soymilk) also contain estrogen analogues. They are naturally occurring, unlike the stuff they feed to cows...
I once met a guy in Kyoto who was a Vietnam War draft dodger (an American ex-pat) ... who claimed that Japanese society was plagued by submissive, "follow-the-leader" mentality because all the men were eating too much tofu, thereby quelling their masculine "fire". This guy also claimed he was the mayor of Kyoto by default, since he wasn't allowed to run. :rolleyes:
