Splitfyre

Anyone have their New Year's Resolutions in order yet? Figured out what you want to change for the year 2002?

- I know that I am looking into making sure I travel more this
upcoming year. If I can I would like to go to any of the following
countries:

1. France
2. Germany
3. Japan
4. Switzerland
5. Scotland
6. Ireland
7. Bahamas

I'm also in the midst of starting to learn a few new languages as part of my resolution.

My resolution is to procrastinate less!!
There are many things that I want to do but put off for no reason. :o

I guess I also want to do things that will help with my career.
And save money. I spend too much.

1. Lose 30 pounds (I can do this. It's a matter of when for me, not if.)
2. Washboard abs!
3. Get out of Debt. I spend way too much.
4. Find a new job that I REALLY, REALLY LIKE!
5. Win a TSD Rally AND get really dirty at the same time!
6. Get Futurelooks to turn a NET PROFIT so we can start doing way cooler stuff for all of our beloved readers! ;)

Of course, this is probably going to be subject to revision :D

If in your format it would be:

1. Lose 25lbs and then gain 25lbs back in pure muscle. I know I
can do this as well. :p My brother was able to bulk up no prob.
when he played hockey, so its in our blood. Gotta get away
from my desk.

2. Love my job already, just hope that I can advance once the IT
market picks back up.

3. Also looking forward to getting FL to the next level.

4. Look forward to moving out in April. Any spending I do is mostly
towards any thing I'll need once I move out.. (i.e. I want a TV
for my own room).

Nothing really major as to "better" myself but:

1) Go to OZ as planned Dec. 2002
2) Buy a WRX (and keep my RS maybe) :D
3) Mod, mod, mod (ie: fine more sources of $$$ to waste)
4) Keep myself in part time studies for the long-run benefits... but I hate it.

1. Go snowboarding as much as possible.

2. Get some of those washboard abs I've heard people talking about, do they sell them at Canadian Tire?

3. Start playing hockey/rollerhockey again.

Can't think of anything else right now. I'm sure theres more though.

Correction! That should be a TCII chip. I can't afford the TEC II. I don't have $2000 US kicking around for standalone engine management system.

I bet Firewire wishes his computer components for his Subaru were exactly like standard PC computer parts.. I could just see him overclocking his car right about... NOW.. :p

Every year we have some Japanese people that stay at our place for a week........ it's pretty fun, and a good way to brush up on some Japanese at the same time. :)

That and maybe they can help you with that hard to read subtitling in some Japanese flicks.

I think I did with mine :D I took 8 courses last year, and now I am just 2 courses away from completing a Technical Communication certificate.

And I guess I saved some money...*teehee* :thumb:

1) Go to OZ as planned Dec. 2002 - Yep did that, did Tokyo and Thailand.
2) Buy a WRX (and keep my RS maybe) - On the waiting list, could dropp the $50k out the door this month, but i'll get it next year.
3) Mod, mod, mod (ie: fine more sources of $$$ to waste) - Yup, brought back some parts from Japan. Car is in good shape.
4) Keep myself in part time studies for the long-run benefits... but I hate it. - Started looking at my proposal for my practicum.

Bonus) Stay confident and cool - Yep, picked up a sweet hunny 10 days after I got back into the country. :D

1. Lose 30 pounds (I can do this. It's a matter of when for me, not if.)

I'm still the same weight. But I haven't gained thirty pounds!

2. Washboard abs!

I think Genetics are agains't me.

3. Get out of Debt. I spend way too much.

Happening....slowly...

4. Find a new job that I REALLY, REALLY LIKE!

Found a new job! Do I really, really like it? Hmm... Only time will tell...

5. Win a TSD Rally AND get really dirty at the same time!

Didn't do any TSD's. Bummer.. Will have to start again!

6. Get Futurelooks to turn a NET PROFIT so we can start doing way cooler stuff for all of our beloved readers!

We would've, but one of our advertisers ripped us off. I won't name them unless they don't "MAKE GOOD" on their promise to pay us shortly.

2003 is starting off pretty good though ;)
