I went to the TAZ here in Calgary for the first time tonight and it was a blast.

Every Saturday night, they do a live broadcast from the club on Power 107, and tonight marked the 4th anniversary. Everything from the atmosphere to the music was well worth the $5 cover charge, and I'll definately be going back.

High recommendation for this club for sure. :)

What kind of music was it? I haven't been in Calgary since I was about 11 years old!!

There was a good mixture of dance, hip-hop, R&B, with a bit of trance thrown in for good measure.

(I'm sure that after the Club 107 broadcast, the DJ probably spins more trance music as well -- maybe next time I'll stay that late).

sounds like a cool club,, If I go to Calgary I will have to check it out!

I too would highly recommend the TAZ. I was there on the long weekend in September, and let me tell ya.... Holy Crap. It was AWESOME. The guys were (for the most part) very nice to look at. Plus, they had some real hotties working the bar!

Haven't been back since, but guaranteed I'll be going back when I visit Calgary again! :D
