Considering I don't even really have a girlfriend and all, it's rather hard for me to say.

The main thing in I can see with a long-distance relationship is that communication is key (even more so than a traditional relationship). I mean, you normally don't get to see the other person regularly, so communicating is the only way you find out what's going on.

you also need to have a lot of trust in the other person when in a long distance relationship
