Everyone has their own ideas for great places to take their date, or significant other. Where are some of the best places you've taken your date or significant other to? It seems as though the dinner and a movie setup only works for the first few times as most people know.. so let's hear everyone's thoughts on this one..
- The best setup I did was I took my date to Hi's Steakhouse in Vancouver and then after dinner we went to the Vancouver Art Gallery upon which we were invited to a special event there and had a few glasses of wine between us and had a great time.

I've always thought that rollerblading through stanely park would be fun to do with a guy that I liked cause I'd have to hold his hand in case I fell! And trust me I fall lots... I have too many pictures to prove it! :D

Shooting pool is fine but if I its summer I'd rather be rollerblading so I am in agreeance with DragonQueen, except I don't fall... that is unless I find some sidewalk crack on the seawall!

Night boarding on the top of Grouse Mountain. Then as you're enjoying the view of the Vancouver lights, and you're plopped down on the snow doing up yer bindings, you move over and give her a kiss and tell her how much you wish right now would last forever...
Watch the goggles though ;)

the best part of the seawall to rollerblade is the Englishbay part,,, the stanley park part is falling apart!
as for me,, I took my significant other to Victoria overnight,, it was awesome,,, the bed and breakfast that we stayed at spoiled us more than a hotel would have.

Me neither. But I have no choice. Girlie wants to take a break. It is difficult when you live together. I wouldn't mind seeing other people, but I just want to go have fun, maybe flirt a bit. Shoot the sh1t. Nothing serious. Just two people having a bit o' fun.
But I fer sure feel for ya Chef bro!
Double date dude? :D
Cheekee's unattached. Right cheekee? Bring a friend and me and Chefy will come boardin' with ya :)
I promise no kissy, kissy on the first date. Maybe a face wash to break in a boardin' buddy ;)

Making out on the chairlift is another option for you more adventurous types. Make sure it is a nice long lift. Get on with just the two of you, and the go and lock lips till ya freeze together.
Unfortunately, it wasn't cold enough yesterday to make that type of bond, but we tried ;)

Hehe, where is this thread going?
Things we have done and in strange places....
I think I'll leave this one alone. I'd rather not get myself in too much trouble.
Let me put it this way - I'm a scorpio - and everything they say about us is true. <wink>
As for the more 'romantic' side of things... if I had to list a couple noteworthy ones here they are:
On the roof of a yacht in the *very* exclusive mooring right next to Canada place in Vancouver. Canada day fireworks. I made her dinner on the yacht first. If anyone doesn't know where I'm talking about.. it's about 200 meters from the main rail where the general public mass up to watch the fireworks. The yacht was in the water where the fireworks barge was... we had the entire yacht to ourselves for the night - very cool.
Italian restaurant - waterfront at the Sydney harbour in the evening (all the lights come on - very pretty) This is the harbour right next to the famous Opera House you see in postcards.) We walked the harbour, had a fantastic dinner... and I had the entire restaurants lights go out and all the wait staff sing happy birthday to her.
Very romantic bed & breakfast for a few days... full day of horseback riding... antique shopping and country drives. We also had an 'outback BBQ' lunch. This was in a tiny inland town in Australia...
Oooops, I'm rambling on a bit... I guess I just had fun on those dates... I like to re-visit them :-) I've been to bed & breakfasts a few times for dates/special occasions.... they are awesome. There is no hotel that compares to the romance and treatment you get at a good one.
Later, Dylan.

For some reason I love Australians!!
I used to want to live in Australia and be with all the crazy drivers!! One day I'll go back and crash at my cousins'!!
Back to the topic at hand (sort of), I've always wanted to go to a bed and breakfast. I think I'd like that.
