All right, call me lame, but give some ideas of what to get the gf for xmas that'd be good! :D
CDs, beauty products... I won't do clothes since I proly have sucky taste, and making something myself this year proly won't work 'cause of time.

Ken, you need to give more background on your gf before asking :)
Gals love gifts that are thoughtful!!
If she likes being pampered, treat her to a spa treatment or facial...
Um...bath stuff is nice but very generic.
Really depends on the girl...What are some of her hobbies? How a CD with your own mix of songs?
An Ipaq? A new set of speakers?

Yah know what I want my BF to get me this year? A nice stuffed animal that I can cuddle with. Cause I miss fallin asleep next to him. :(
Last year he got me perfume and a $200 gift certificate to Ricki's (woman's clothing store) which was really nice cause I needed new clothes badly!!

Stuffed animals are usually good ideas from what I've seen. (Not that I would know for sure, since I'm single). (heh).

A good boyfriend always knows stuff like that ;)
Too bad we're not "Together" right now. We're taking that "Infamous Break" but I know we still love eachother. She just doesn't know what she wants to do with her life.
In the meantime, I'll just remember my OWN shoe size and buy stuff for me :D

Oh chefboy, try to cheer up ...things will get better :) Although breakups are usually sucky, the suckiness only lasts for a while.
I am not apologising for the confusion though. :D

I just pay attention whenever she mentions things that she likes. It doesn't matter when it is, because that aniversary, birthday, holiday is just around the corner :D
Although it depends how long you've been dating. We have been going out for 4 years. So if you've only been dating a few months the presents are obviously going to be different.
The best part is that she says I always get the best presents, but I don't even have to do much work, I get all my ideas from her, she just forgets she mentioned them :D
Some of the things I have given her are:
- Lava Lamp,
- Nice dress watch,
- A Star light that has holes in it that project all over her room.
- Tea pot set
- Candles
- Some lip balms that she really likes but are really hard to find
I've also made her things
- Watercolor Painting
- Burned a cd, made my own cd cover for it
I'm gonna get here these this year
- Blender
- Sushi dishes set
- Some other little things, don't really know yet :P
I hope those give you some ideas but like amandabobanda said, it depends on the girl.
