Hey Guys and Gals,

Just wanted to let you know that Titaniumanjil (aka Titanium Venus) is back from a great trip from Italy. She will no doubt be talking about her travels in the Travelling Techie section, and sharing her food stories here with us. Her moderator status has been reinstated and she will be joining Chef Boy once again in sharing their knowledge of food, and the joy of making it!

real italian huh?! what kind italian food have you been cookin?! :D you want some lessons they'll cost ya!
gotta pay for my trip some how.
i did keep up some great tips about olive oil and its use and excellent dishes...mmmmmmm..

yeah real italian cooking,, :D

I know stuff about olive oil,, but you might have learnt something that I don't know ;)

what kind of herbs and spices do they use over there?

well... the usual salt, pepper, garlic, organo, basil, and spicy olive oil is really in now as well as balmasic vinegar. is hugh.. for cooking pasta they usea specific larger granuated salt than normal table salt in the water

its really hard to know what to tell you when i dont know what you know...?! are you coming to the sushi get together???

the oly way that I could go to a sushi meet is if it were on one of my nights off during the week or on a sunday in the morning,, cuz I would have to work at 4pm :(

I like the Floata Chinese Seafood Restaurant in Richmond. I can't really think of any places that are excellent. And there are lots of awful ones, too...*L*

*L* Then you'd have to find a place closer to Langley :D BWAHAHHAA I know of many places outside of Richmond. Richmond is THE place to go for Asian cuisine :D (well, in BC anyway)
