What the heck is IXOS?

IXOS a British cabling and electronic production company has teamed up with a couple of guys that know a thing or two about headphones. These guys got together with the infamous Ministry of Sound DJs to bring forth a great line of DJ headphones. Together they have developed headphones for the novice right through to the professional DJ, ranging in prices from $40 USD to $129.95 USD. Today we will be looking at their top of the line DJ1001s. If these headphones are any indication on what the remainder of their line represents, watch out, these guys are gonna make waves.

These bad boys rock!

I was very impressed with the output and sound quality of the DJ1001s. Not only do they give you that head-cracking bass you need to hit the money mix, but they do not over-color the sound. You get a rich mix of highs and lows that will keep the tamest ears happy. The best thing about the DJ1001s is the full range of sound that is suitable for a number of tastes. You don't have to be a PRO to appreciate the sound quality.
