Futurelooks CES 2002: Las Vegas Picture Essay (Page 1 of 1)

I have watched a lot of movies, documentaries, and various other items featuring Vegas in my time, and you'd figure that for the amount of times you've seen Vegas on the big and little screen, you'd be
prepared for it right? That's the understatement of the year! I am satisfied to say that I am no longer a Vegas virgin, however, I was completely and totally unprepared for the glitz, glamour and night life that Vegas had to offer. After we took turns driving down with John from the Techzone (23 hrs straight) I made Stephen wander the streets with me till the wee hours of the morning, taking pictures. I was absolutely mesmerized by the Vegas sights and sounds.

For those of you that have never seen the Bellagio watershow, it is truly a sight to see. Here's a short clip of the show for your viewing pleasure.

The amount of money running through that town is not only mind boggling but also astounding. I can see how people would get addicted to the sound of slots ringing through their heads. No matter which way you turn, or wherever you go, you are bombarded with sex and the continual ringing of the slot machines. We were very fortunate to be able to attend several different press parties at the numerous hotels; the Bellagio, the Aladdin and the Hilton just to name a few. That didn't stop me though. I wanted to see them all.

We had a great time in Vegas and I can't wait to go back in the Fall for Comdex 2002. See you there!
