We found our friends at ANTEC
hanging out in their private suite at the Grand Hyatt in Taipei. Hiding behind the closed doors were a few things that caught our eye. Let's have a look!
The Baby P180...

The legendary P180 goes on a diet and becomes the Mini P180. From the outside, the Mini P180 receives a new chevron shaped air scoop design that replaces the old pop up grill that tended to get damaged or twisted. A similar treatment is introduced to the front door, allowing the case to pull air in much more easily than the original P180's solid door.

Inside the case is the familiar dual chamber design, however with a smaller exterior, the interior must shrink as well, thus the Mini P180 is made for Micro ATX motherboards only. The Mini P180 retains the sideways removable drive bays. The middle one can be converted into a mounting point for a 120mm fan, blowing cool air over the video card area.

Up top and under the chevron shaped air intake is a massive 200mm fan that spins at a low RPM while exhausting a huge amount of hot air from the CPU area. Along with the other 120mm fans and the three layer panel construction, this should prove to be a very quiet case for your Micro ATX system.
The SONATA Family Expands

Well, technically, the ANTEC P family loses a member (The P150
) and the SONATA gains the SONATA designer (as shown) which comes in different coloured trim if you're into that sort of thing with a 500 watt Earth Watt PSU and the SONATA Plus which sports a built in modular 550 watt NeoPower PSU. Both have a 120mm three speed adjustable fans, but the Plus includes pre-installed 92mm intake fans to cool the hard drive area further and is clearly built for a bit more performance.
The new SONATA's retain the rubber band hard drive mounting system and the three layer panel construction that kept the P150 so quiet. They should prove to be a solid choice for users that want quiet and great looks all at the same time.
