When all is said and done at CES, there are a few things that are bound to be
talked about for the entire year. There are also a few others that are bound to
be laughed at for far longer than that. So when it came time to figure out
what we felt were our hits and misses of the 40th Anniversary of CES, we decided
to give some of the overlooked things a bit of face time. Let's check'em out!
The Hits of CES 2007
These products had what it took to impress on one of the biggest stages in the
world. These products were cool, revolutionary, and at least functional!1.
It's a Blizzard Out There...

You'll be the envy of the entire guild!
Although Blizzard itself had no booth at CES, their licensed products were a major hit. From Linksyss
"Blizzard Edition" gaming router to the "Burning Crusade" DELL XPS Laptop, this franchise seems to be an out of control hit! With rumours of a new Starcraft release, do these guys make anything that flops?
2. GE DECT 6.0

This phone is smart.
Smart like computer!
Gone is that crowded 2.4 GHz frequency; in its place 1.9GHz.
This phone (although a ways off from a Canadian release) is a look into the future. Using its
Ethernet connection, it will check your weather, or subscribe to any text based web site. With local content from your local news networks, this phone will have the info you need to get through the day!
3. Face Detection from Fujifilm

The camera will do all the work! At last!
Point and shoot reaches the next level with this feature. Using an
advanced algorithm, the camera will detect up to 10 faces in a picture to focus on. The more high-end cameras will also allow the smart photographer the control they need to get the perfect shot. A smart focus to help out the dumb photographer (such as myself), as well as the ability for the pros to take shots? Perfect!
4. A4Techs Pimp Keyboard

Only the finest of materials were used.
Now where's the fuzzy dice?
This keyboard not only looks good, it works too! It boasts a Skype phone combined with the ability to go
hands free in speakerphone mode. Besides the standard web function and
multimedia keys, the silver speaker grills and faux wood finish will make you
the pimp of the office. Now where are my fuzzy dice?
5: Bigfoot Networks Killer Network Card
"Bling"...

I'm so hot I gotta wear a heatsink!
What happens when you put a chain on that shiny factory
installed heatsink? You get some major stylin bling. On top of a hot new product, these folks had some major style. Question is, when are they going to start their
jewellery line?
