The maker of some of your favourite third party console and handheld accessories has decided to take it to the next level in 2007. Here are some must haves to keep an eye out for from the folks at NYKO Technologies !

Playstation 3

Following up with from their already popular Intercooler product for the Xbox 360, they will be releasing also be releasing a solution for the PS3 in 2007. This cooler will include a toggle for fan speed, and will rest on top of your PS3. The unit will also use a power pass through, allowing additional cooling to the back of the unit without blocking off the ports on the back.

Some may wonder if the PS3 will even get hot enough to warrant such an add on, however simply feeling the difference with and without will answer that question. When it comes to maintaining performance and improving product life, this solution is a great, no-tools-required solution. The unit pictured here is actually a prototype, but our NYKO rep tells us that the production version will be an even better fit, making it nearly impossible for you to tell that it is an add on.

Xbox 360

With this system having been out for such a long time, third party accessories are everywhere. Adding some great innovation to a market that is become quite filled is becoming more and more difficult. Nyko will however be setting the bar with their Multi Reader/USB hub.
