Since 1999 Razer
has had one mission; to make technologies for the hard core gamer. This typically included “gamer” products such as mice and keyboards. This year we will see them come out with something completely different: Speakers
.

Take me to your leader...
What is a company that makes mice doing with speakers you ask? Well apparently they are THX'ing, that’s what. Utilizing two key THX technologies (THX ground plane, and slot speaker technology) these speakers are designed to deliver crisp clean sound throughout a 360 degree axis. They are also specially designed to eliminate distortion that would normally come with cranking up the volume. Add a stylish iPod-esque touchpad for adjusting volume, and you get a package to keep an eye out for in 2007.
Gaming Mice
Razer has not however forgotten about their first love. For their mice, they have gone back to the drawing board to dispel a few common myths. Myth number one? Higher DPI = better
game play. To dispel this myth they watched gamers very closely (with the help of multiple cameras). This research led them to some surprising conclusions.

Left handed people are evil anyways...
Tada! Enter the "DeathAdder", not to be confused with BlackAdder. This mouse, specifically designed for right-handed users (sorry lefties, no left-handed version in the works), has what Razer is calling a third generation optical mouse engine, combined with the ability to adjust sensitivity to using different profiles. It is no wonder that this mouse has started earning a reputation as being the
unofficial Counterstrike mouse.
Of all the companies releasing new gadgets this year Razer will definitely be one to keep an eye on. That is, of course, assuming that your life has not been completely consumed by WoW (World of Warcraft).
