Filled with fun!
Although, I initially thought the whole idea of making a garden nice to attract piñatas to their eventual violent demise was a little weird, the game's light hearted nature soon made me forget all about it! The story is that there is a piece of unused land on Piñata Island that used to be a garden but is now unused. It is your mission to turn this broken bit of land into a thriving garden that will attract piñata.
With a distinct "pokemonesque" flair there are over 60 different piñata you can attract, and a wide variety of achievements to be earned. The piñata all resemble real animals and range from badgers, to deers, and even bumble bees. Gotta catch em all?

I'm seeing a pond, fir trees, daisies... FABULOUS!
In the tradition of the Sims, you don’t have any direct control over the piñata. You must do your best to attract the piñata indirectly. You build houses, plant trees, and create your garden. When all the conditions are right, piñatas will become residents, and will “romance”. This romancing results in a mini game maze that allows you to collect money, as well as to allow for a romance dance with “Storkos” bringing a new egg. Weirded out yet?
Through collecting more chocolate coins (money) by selling produce and creating a good garden you get happy piñatas and gain levels and gardener titles.
