2006 LG's Holiday of Style Product Briefing

  Submitted: 10-25-2006

 Summary:
LG invited us down to check out what they think will create a Holiday of Style under the tree this year. I'm not sure about fitting a 50 inch Plasma down there, but we saw a few other things that should fit nicely under there. Let's have a look at what makes "Life Good"...

LG is one of few companies that makes almost everything themselves. From their washer and dryers to their mobile phones, they make every part of their products, all the way down to the PCB components. This makes them different than a lot of the other big companies because a lot of the companies you would think were making the products themselves, farm it out to other OEM Manufacturers to produce. LG actually gets a lot of these contracts and their products have actually had other well known names attached to them. Because of this, they're designs are typically packed with a lot of features that come at a much more affordable price point compared to competitors.

One of the things that LG does well is match style with technology, with a dash of common sense. They were the first ones to manufacturer a stackable washer and dryer that had a dryer control panel that could be moved from the top, to the bottom by the user. Imagine being short and having to reach that top panel!

Well, that's enough background for now. Today, we're going to show you what LG Canada has in store for us this upcoming Holiday season. From Mobile Phones to Plasma TV's.
