XFX (aka Pine Technology) is no stranger when it comes to nVidia chipsets, and today, we're going to check out their 7800GT, which is just a step down from the GTX and also a step down in price and probably a couple steps up in availability too!

We won't bore you too much with the technical details of the GeForce 7 series since we already covered them right here.  Essentially, the 7800GT is a stripped down version of the 7800GTX. Just subtract a quad of pipelines and a vertex shader pipe, and change around the clock and memory speeds and hocus pocus... and now you've removed an X from the name.
